Meeting in Copenhagen on 5th and 6th March 2020, the ISLET team gathered to mark the start of the 8 million Euro, 5-year long project. Partners were delighted to hear first from a young woman who lives with Type 1 Diabetes, highlighting the importance and relevance ISLET’s work has on society. A unique multi-institutional project, the meeting was a rich environment of collaboration where ideas and expertise were shared.
